  • The Illinois Environmental Protection Agency Bureau of Air is holding public meetings to discuss the four areas of the state that the Agency will be recommending to the United States Environmental Protection Agency to be designated non-attainment for the new more stringent federal sulfur dioxide standard. The Illinois EPA's recommendation must be made to the USEPA by June 3, 2011.
