  • The Illinois Department of Transportation today announced that Interstate I-55/70 will have lane closures from Canteen Creek, mile marker 8 to IL 157, in both the westbound and eastbound directions beginning Friday, March 11, 2011 through Friday, March 25, 2011, weather permitting. Additionally, westbound or eastbound I-55/70 may be closed entirely to traffic for a maximum of 15 minutes at a time
