  • The Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) will host a public meeting Wednesday, March 23, to discuss potential improvements to Illinois 131 from Russell Road to Sunset Avenue in Lake County. The original meeting date of Feb. 3 was rescheduled because of inclement weather. The public meeting is being held in an open house format, meaning interested residents can attend any time from 4 to 7 p.m.
