  • A TV spot created by two Eastern Illinois University (EIU) students will begin airing on stations throughout Illinois after the spot took top honors in the Ready Illinois College Challenge. The contest, sponsored by the Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA) and the Illinois Broadcasters Association (IBA), challenged students at Illinois colleges to create and produce a 30-second TV spot promoting earthquake awareness and the states Ready Illinois website.
