  • November unemployment rates fell in every metropolitan area in the state for the third consecutive month. The last time Illinois had three consecutive months of ear-over-year declines in every local area was December 2006, according to data released today by the Illinois Department of Employment Security. The preliminary data is not seasonally adjusted.
