Description

  • The Illinois Environmental Protection Agency (IEPA) has granted the City of Oregon a provisional variance from the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) water discharge permit limits in order to make major improvements to its wastewater treatment facilities. Oregon requested the provisional variance since the plant must be temporarily taken out of service to complete improvements.
