  • The Illinois Department of Agriculture (IDOA) has added Champaign and Vermilion Counties to its emerald ash borer (EAB) quarantine. The remaining portions of Ogle and Lee Counties not previously covered in the quarantine were also added. While the beetle does not pose any direct risk to public health, it does threaten the tree population.
