  • The Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA) today urged people to be prepared for dangerous situations that could result from high winds predicted for late tonight and Tuesday by the National Weather Service (NWS). The high winds are expected to affect much of the state, with wind gusts up to 60 to 80 miles per hour possible with the strongest storms.
