  • The Illinois Department of Transportation announces today that weather permitting, construction work on US 30 north of Amboy will begin on Wednesday, September 1, 2010. The 14 mile section of US 30 from US 52 to IL 251 will be improved by removing and replacing the shoulders and resurfacing the roadway. Northwest Illinois Construction Company is the contractor for the $5.2 million project.
