  • The Illinois Department of Transportation announces today that weather permitting, construction work on IL 2 north of Dixon will begin on Wednesday, September 1, 2010. Northwest Illinois Construction Company will be starting the $879,500 contract to improve the 3.5 mile section of IL 2 from Grand Detour to the north edge of Dixon.
