  • Press release: Food production and preservation demonstrations from Lincolns time through the present will be featured during Hands on the Land: Illinois Agriculture, Then and Now, a family event scheduled for Saturday, August 8 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Union Square Park across the street from the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Museum in downtown Springfield. The outdoor event is free and open to the public, and features activities for the entire family.
