  • Press release: The Illinois Department on Aging (IDoA) will host the 23rd Annual Elder Rights Conference Wednesday, July 15 through Friday, July 17, at the Lincolnshire Marriott Resort. The conference brings together providers and professionals to focus on various topics including elder abuse prevention. Earlier this month, Governor Quinn proclaimed July as Elder Abuse Awareness Month in Illinois and IDoA launched the Break the Silence campaign in an effort to increase awareness of elder abuse.
