  • Press release: State Fire Marshal David B. Foreman is urging Illinois residents to check their smoke detectors and to immediately discontinue use if they are the model that was recalled by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) earlier today. The CPSC recalled more than 90,000 smoke alarms that may not sound in case of a fire.
