  • House Resolution 19 directs the Illinois Board of Higher Education to conduct an inquiry into the issues surrounding the Masters of Social Work degree at Governors State University. The resolutions also direct the Board to submit a report to the General Assembly recommending actions to address issues related to denial of accreditation of the Governors State program and actions that can be taken to avoid such occurrences at any public university or college in the future.
