  • Report by the Department of Children and Family Services, which is Illinois designated agency responsible to receive the Basic State Grant under the Child Abuse Prevention and Treatment Act and continues to comply with the requirements as stipulated in Title 1 section 106 (b) of the Act. The Department is the state agency given the responsibility by the Abused and Neglected Child Reporting Act (ANCRA) to conduct investigations of child maltreatment and to arrange for needed services for families where credible evidence of abuse and neglect exits (Indicated cases).
