  • The Evaluation of the Implementation of Illinois Learning Standards (Reissued) Project is a four-year endeavor funded by the Illinois State Board of Education to assess the extent to which local districts are implementing Illinois Learning Standards, to identify factors which enhance or inhibit implementation, and to investigate the relationship between standards implementation and student achievement. The project began on January 18, 1999, and ended its third fiscal year of operation on June 30, 2001. This report contains the findings of the third year of the study.
