Description

  • Article 16 of the Public Utilities Act PUA , entitled the Electric Service Customer Choice and Rate Relief Law of 1987 [220 ILCS 5/16], requires electric utilities to annually provide to the Illinois Commerce Commission Commission or ICC information regarding the transition to a competitive electric industry. Section 16-130 of the PUA [220 ILCS 5/16-130] requires electric utilities to address eleven topics. Section 16-130 c requires the Commission to submit a report to the General Assembly summarizing the information provided by each electric utility.
