The Task Force on Professional Practice in the Illinois Justice Systems was created by legislation signed into law on August 14, 1999, with a mission to study caseloads, salaries, technological needs, and other issues related to recruitment and retention of attorneys in the Illinois criminal and juvenile justice systems.
