Description

  • Illinois EPA received a grant to develop a plan for a wetland monitoring and assessment program. A Wetland Technical Working Group comprised of individuals from Federal, State, and local agencies and entities was convened. This program builds upon the existing wetland efforts of the Illinois Dept. of Natural Resources' Critical Trends Assessment Program, conducted by the Illinois Natural History Survey. Illinois will work to update its portion of the National Wetland Inventory.
