  • Dixon/Lee Energy Partners, LLC (Dixon/Lee or Petitioner) filed a verified petition, and on May 25, 2007, Dixon/Lee filed a verified amended petition seeking an Illinois Commerce Commission (Commission) order effective May 31, 2007, revoking the status of Qualifying Solid Waste Energy Facility (QSWEF) as defined in Section 8-403.1 of the Illinois Public Utilities Act (Act) of an electric generating facility owned by Dixon/Lee, fueled by landfill methane and located at the Dixon and Lee Landfill in Dixon, Illinois, and also providing that Commonwealth Edison Company shall no longer be required to purchase electricity generated by the Facility from Dixon/Lee at the rate provided for in Section 8-403.1 of the Act.
