- Illinois Criminal Justice Information Authority (ICJIA) researchers used an event-based sampling method to analyze youth rearrest, recommitment to the Illinois Department of Juvenile Justice (IDJJ) (juvenile corrections), and commitment to the Illinois Department of Corrections (IDOC) as adults. This study is an update to the 2012 and 2013 ICJIA juvenile recidivism studies. The current study analyzed youth exits between SFY08 and SFY13, with a three-year follow-up.
