This Parent-Teen Driving Guide is a tool to help parents observe and instruct their teen drivers during the instruction permit phase of licensing. Teens must log a minimum 50 hours of practice driving, including 10 hours at night, with their parents or a responsible adult age 21 or older before obtaining a drivers license.
