In this issue we highlight the topic of working together for economic growth. While the challenges of the past year have been nothing short of monumental, The Treasurer is reminded of the enduring spirit of the Illinois worker, business owner, and maybe the most difficult occupation of all, parent. We in the treasurers office also have changed to meet our responsibilities of investing on behalf of units of government, parents saving for college, and workers saving for retirement.
