  • Press Release: The Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) will host a public hearing on the proposed improvements to Illinois 47 from Reed Road to U.S. 14 in McHenry County. The anticipated scope of work includes the reconstruction and widening of Illinois 47 to two lanes in each direction separated by a median. The proposed work would also include a bridge replacement and additional intersection, drainage, pedestrian and bicycle improvements.
