  • Patrick Kinney was taking a break from mowing the lawn at his Moms house when he remembered the $300,000,000 Cash Spectacular instant ticket in his back pocket. He found a nearby tree and sat in the shade to scratch his ticket, instantly winning $1 million. I started shaking like a leaf, he said appropriately. Today, Illinois Lottery officials presented Kinney an oversized $1million check to commemorate his win.
