  • The League of Illinois Bicyclists (LIB), partnering with the Illinois Department of Natural Resources (IDNR), is leading an annual bicycle tour of northwestern Illinois from June 15 to 20. The popular six-day Grand Illinois Trail and Parks (GITAP) ride will start and end in Oregon, IL, with overnight stops in Freeport, Galena (two nights), Savanna, and Morrison.
