  • Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) will present renderings of the planned improvements and provide additional details on the upcoming work within the Springfield 3rd Street Corridor at a public meeting today from 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at the Springfield Hilton at 700 East Adams Street, Springfield. A media briefing will be held prior to the public meeting at 2:30 p.m. at the same location. This is the second public meeting regarding the 3rd Street Rail Improvements; the first was held on December 10, 2013.
