  • Illinois Department of Insurance (DOI) Director Andrew Boron today announced an agreement with Lincoln National Life Insurance Company, Lincoln Life and Annuity Company of New York, and First Penn Pacific Life Insurance Company (collectively Lincoln) as part of a multi-million dollar settlement with several states regarding its use of the Social Security Administrations Death Master File (DMF). Under the settlement, Lincoln will pay $12.6 million dollars to states that are a party to the settlement.
