  • Dontay Brassel vs International Brotherhood of Teamsters, Local 700: On February 25, 2014, Executive Director Melissa Mlynski dismissed an unfair labor practice charge filed by Charging Party Dontay Brassel against Repsondent International Brotherhood of Teamsters, Local 700. The charge alleged that Respondent had violated Section 10(b) of the Illinois Public Labor Relations Act, 5 ILCS 315/10(b) (2012), by failing to file or proceed with a grievance over the rebidding of shifts that allegedly violated a collective bargaining agreement and bumped Brassel, a truck driver, from his previous shift.
