  • Teamsters Local 714 and County of Cook and Sheriff of Cook County: On September 20, 2010, the Illinois Labor Relations Board's Executive Director, John F. Brosnan, dismissed the unfair labor practice charge filed by Teamsters Local 714 (Charging Party) in the above-captioned case. The Charging Party alleged that the County of Cook and Sheriff of Cook County (Respondents) engaged in unfair labor practices within the meaning of Section 10(a)(4) and (1) of the Illinois Public Labor Relations Act, 5 ILCS 315/10(a)(1), (4)(2008), by making a unilateral charge when it changed the bid process for unit employees in the Electronic Monitoring Unit.
